Après 16 ans chez Renault, DIDIER LEROY a intégré Toyota en 1998 pour y rester 28 ans. Il a
construit, puis dirigé, l’usine Toyota de Valenciennes, puis il fut, en 2010, CEO de Toyota Motor Europe afin de transformer l’entreprise en profondeur. En 2015,
Akio Toyoda le nomme Vice-Président Exécutif de Toyota Motor Corporation, en charge de l’ensemble des opérations industrielles et commerciales sur toute la planète. Il est alors
le numéro 2 de Toyota Monde et dirige plus de 315 000 personnes localisés dans 170 pays. Il est le premier non-japonais membre du Conseil d’Administration
de Toyota Monde. Rentré en Europe, il est à présent Président du Conseil d’administration de Toyota Motor Europe et conseiller personnel d’Akio Toyoda.
Ancien directeur de l’usine d’Onnaing et Vice-président de Toyota, le nordiste Didier Leroy est le seul européen dans l’état-major du constructeur japonais.
Sous son impulsion, la filiale européenne redeviendra rapidement profitable. Akio Toyoda lui a confié la responsabilité de l’ensemble des opérations (Ventes, Marketing, Fabrication,
R&D, Achats,…) pour le monde entier hors Japon.
Depuis quelques années, DIDIER LEROY intervient lors de conférences en français ou en anglais sur divers sujets et thématiques comme

Vice President of Toyota Motor Corporation, in charge of all industrial and commercial operations worldwide. He was then the number 2 executive at Toyota Worldwide, leading more than
315,000 people in 170 countries. He was the first non-Japanese member of the Toyota Worldwide Board of Directors. Having returned to Europe, he is now Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Toyota Motor Europe and a personal advisor to Akio Toyoda.
Former director of the Onnaing plant and Vice President of Toyota, Didier Leroy, from northern France, is the only European on the Japanese automaker's executive team.
Under his leadership, the European subsidiary quickly returned to profitability. Akio Toyoda entrusted him with responsibility for all operations (Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing,
R&D, Purchasing, etc.) worldwide, excluding Japan.
For several years, DIDIER LEROY has been a speaker at conferences in French and English on various topics and themes such as
management, leadership, lean management, the Toyota Production System, business transformation, managerial dynamics at the heart of performance, and the future of industry and
